Coogee Local Woman of the Year

On 8 March 2023 Anne was honoured to be named Coogee’s Local Woman of the Year at the NSW Women of the Year Awards.

Dr Marjorie O’Neill MP, who presented Anne with the award, said “Today, I wish to congratulate Anne Ring who has been recognised as Coogee’s Local Woman of the Year. Anne is both a health sociologist and freelance writer. She has made many contributions to the Coogee community and recently published her book titled ‘Engaging with Ageing’. In her work she discusses what matters as we grown older and how to make the most of it in our own individual ways and circumstances. Congratulations Anne!”
